The Department of Labour is presently doing inspections to check on compliance with the OHS Act and they are taking strong action on those businesses that are found wanting.   It is important for you to implement the necessary Health and Safety Procedures as required by the OHS Act,  to train and educate your staff in behaviour, procedures and compliance in the workplace and to continue to monitor and update all of these factors on an ongoing basis.

 

This is an important facet of your business.   If you or your staff do not comply you will be liable for prosecution, your business could be shut down, you will be heavily fined and suffer material loss.
